We amplify the voices of brave artists who oppose the Kremlin and face reprisals in Russia for their work. Our mission is to elevate protest voices within the art community and support artists who courageously critique autocracy, repression, and war. We aim to showcase the many talented Russian-speaking artists who lack a platform, while establishing both representation and a market for their work
We are also developing and preserving a unique archive of critical art, conducting research, and educating audiences worldwide. As part of this vision, we are laying the foundation for a future Museum of Critical Art. To date, we have gathered the largest collection of protest art, featuring over 600 original works by more than 300 Russian-speaking artists—some living in exile, others remaining in Russia. This collection reflects the richness and depth of expression and underscores our commitment to championing humanitarian issues through art.
Our focus spans themes such as anti-war narratives, Russian imperialism, decoloniality, human rights, inequality, pro-feminism, anti-propaganda, LGBTQ+ rights, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Since September 2023, we have organized over 25 exhibitions of anti-war and critical art worldwide, welcoming more than 10,000 visitors and reaching over 10 million through media coverage. These exhibitions provide a dynamic platform for diverse voices and perspectives on pressing societal issues.
